Yes, you actually CAN feel like yourself again. Here’s how

When was the last time you took time to pause? From the urgency to prove yourself? Work, life, society - the weight of the world never stops asking for more. This is your call to lay it all down — let the sun light the parts of you that have been hiding, and let the ocean remind you how to breathe. This week will be permission for you to rest. No fixing. No becoming - just softening into who you already are. To remember you were never broken in the first place.

Candace has a calming presence, and her yoga teaching style is great for every level, from beginners to advanced yogis. She is very skilled in sequencing, our practices were balanced, my body feels so strong after our week together. She has compassion and empathy for all of her students, and the self-inquiry that she includes, the questions she posed to us, the journaling prompts, the quotes and teachings, all enhanced my experience and really connected my mind, body, and heart. She is my personal favourite yoga teacher I have ever practiced with, I would book another retreat with her in a heartbeat, and I am grateful she brought us all to Copal. I will be back!

Permission To Rest
February 14-20, 2026

For over a decade, I've taught yoga classes, trainings, and workshops, and I've watched the same pattern repeat itself: students arrive exhausted, depleted, running on empty. They show up to class because they know they need something, but one hour a week isn't enough to undo the constant demands of modern life.

We live in a world that makes it nearly impossible to fully unplug. The result? We've become numb. We move through our days holding our breath, never pausing long enough to feel what's actually happening inside us. The thought of truly reconnecting with ourselves feels like a luxury we can't afford—or worse, something we've forgotten how to do.

I see my students trapped in an endless loop: giving everything to everyone else, with nothing left for themselves. They're stressed, burned out, and honestly? They've lost hope that it could be any different.

That's why I created these retreats.

Because you can break the cycle—but not in the same environment that created it. You need space. Permission. Time away from the noise to remember who you are beneath all the doing. My retreats aren't just holidays with yoga classes—they're an invitation to step out of survival mode and into a place where replenishment isn't just possible, it's the entire point.

If you've been waiting for a sign that it's okay to prioritize yourself, this is it.
